Recently, my beautiful daughter-in-law broke her ankle playing tennis. I know for a fact that she did not step on the court thinking, "I am going to limp off this court today!" Matter of fact, knowing my son, he was bragging about his tennis skills, and she was determined to show him a few moves of her own on the court. I'm just saying. But, the point of me sharing, really, was to talk about her visit with the doctor. She was telling me that during the visit, and the fact that he said that it was a "clean" break, and if she was going to break her ankle, this was the best way to break it. And, as our conversation continued, we both praised God for a clean break.
There are times in our lives when in the midst of pain, we do not feel like there is anything to praise God about. I would beg to differ. Even in the hardest times, there is opportunity. Even in the darkest times, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And, most times in those moments we have people in our life to remind us of it. And, then there are times when we have to choose to praise God beyond our own understanding. That's faith. And, the word tells us that if we could just have the faith of a mustard seed, He will do the rest.
So, let's praise Him. Let's praise Him for being a God that knows everything, is everywhere, and is ready to do something amazing in your life.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7
Step into your faith, and allow God to show up and show out in your life.
